CAMERON, Christopher A.

Christopher A. Cameron, 44, passed away peacefully on Monday, (August 22, 2011), at the Albany Medical Center. Born in Hartford on August 29, 1966, Christopher is the son of Miller and Ann Cameron of Wethersfield. He attended school in Wethersfield and graduated in 1988 Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Connecticut with BA degree in English. Christopher was a photographer, sound engineer, musician, practicing Buddhist, creative writer, car enthusiast, artist, singer, and public radio personality. Christopher was a man of many talents and interests, yet all remember him as a warm, witty, wonderful friend and trusted confidant. Everyone who knew him well has a favorite "Christopher" story that includes lots of humor and zaniness. Although he is greatly missed, his family and friends treasure the spirit of this one-of-a-kind and special man. He is survived by his parents, sisters Joan Skolimowski (Henryk) and Suzanne Jones (Bruce) of Ann Arbor, MI; brothers Wayne Cameron of Pacifica, CA and Brian Cameron of Branford, CT; nieces Raphaela Fritz (Chandler), Jennifer Cameron, Leecey Cameron, Calla Cameron; nephews Matthew Jones (Katie), Adam Jones (Johanna), Douglas Cameron, Patrick Cameron, and James Cameron; grandniece Zoey Jones and grandnephew Lucien Fritz.
A requiem mass will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, (August 25, 2011), at Trinity Episcopal Church, 300 Main St., Wethersfield. A private interment is planned in accordance with family wishes. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to Karma Triyana Dharmachakra (KTD), 335 Meads Mountain Rd. Woodstock, NY 12498.
