Clifford J. "Cliff" Aldrich Sr. Obituary
Clifford J. "Cliff" Aldrich, Sr., 88, of Bloomfield, beloved husband of 67 years of Norma (Ripolone) Aldrich, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born in Bloomfield to the late Merton B. Aldrich and Fannie Coones, He has been a Bloomfield resident all of his life. Cliff served as a past Captain with the Blue Hills Fire Dept. He also drove tractor trailer for Mashkin Freight Lines of East Hartford. Besides his wife Norma, he is survived by two sons, Clifford Aldrich, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Fairmont, OK; Norman Aldrich and his wife Roberta of Spring Hill, FL; his daughter Lisa Jansen and her husband John of Granby, and his son-in-law August "Augie" Phillips of East Windsor; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Jo-Ann Phillips. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Augie for his compassionate care of Cliff. His family will receive friends on Monday, January 28 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 29 at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Wintonbury Ave Bloomfield. For online condolences please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com
