ANDERSON, Elizabeth B. Elizabeth (Brandli) Anderson, of Farmington, beloved wife of James T. Anderson passed away unexpectedly on Friday, (February 4, 2005) at their home in Ludlow, VT. Born in Long Branch, NJ on February 19, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John Danner and Dorothy (Minard) Brandli. Upon graduating from Mount Vernon Seminary in Washington D.C. and studying abroad in Switzerland, she moved to New York City, where she worked for Ward Howell Associates and met and married her husband, then moving to Farmington. After raising three sons and assisting for several years with the family business, she worked for Church Homes-Avery Heights, where she became the Executive Assistant to the Chairman/CEO and Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors. An active life in sports included being an equestrian, playing tennis and racquetball, and cheering for the Red Sox, the Patriots, UCONN basketball and her sons' many teams. She loved spending time at home in Vermont with her family, friends and beloved dogs. She was an extremely friendly, giving person who will always be remembered for her gregarious and fun-loving spirit. Besides her husband, she is survived by her three sons; Mark E. Anderson and his wife Monica of Tuckers Town, Bermuda, Brian T. Anderson and his wife Suzanne of Larchmont, NY and Timothy J. Anderson of Simsbury; one brother, John D. Brandli, Jr. of Scotch Plains, NJ and three cherished grandchildren Sean, Abigail and Megan Anderson. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., (Route 4) Unionville on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel at Avery Heights, 705 New Britain Avenue, Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Church Homes-Avery Heights, 217 Avery Heights, Hartford, CT 06106-4200.
