Karen, Matthew, Joshua and Evan-
We were all so shocked to hear of the news of Glenn's passing. He was a wonderful person and we will always remember the sparkle in his eyes as he smiled. He was so devoted to you all and I will never forget the support he offered you, Karen, through PT school. We always enjoyed Glenn's company and hanging out with you guys. Please know that we are here for you all whenever you need us and we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers through this VERY difficult time. It probably will never make sense as to why Glenn passed away, but take comfort in all the wonderful memories you have with him. And Evan is lucky to have you to tell him of how wonderul his Dad truly was.

Karen --
Although I have only had the privilege of knowing you and Glenn for the past couple of years, it has been easy to see the love and respect you both had for one another. I am unable to adequately put into words the sorrow I am feeling for you and your boys. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. You will see Glenn again some day -- until that time may God give you the strength and comfort to endure. . .

Nature

As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

Oh Karen, words cannot express our sadness upon hearing of Glenn's passing. He was such a kind man and a wonderful father. I loved bumping into him around town or on a walk in the neighborhood-a quick hello would soon turn into a thirty minute conversation! I can't remember a time with him that he wasn't smiling or boasting about his boys' accomplishments. He loved you and the boys so deeply, and you all will always have that to remember him by.
Please know we're here for you and the boys in this time of loss-anytime you need anything just let us know.

As a wife and mother, my heart aches for the pain you are feeling right now.
I got to know Glenn by chance- by a nice common bond of having boys to relate and brag about, by our 'baby clothes swaps' or by giving Jake a haircut. Every time I saw him he was always smiling and talking about his wonderful boys. He truly beamed when he spoke about his children. He was such a kind gentle soul and will truly be missed by all who got the opportunity to know him.
I hope over time your heart is a little less broken and your sadness a little less frequent.
You, Matthew, Josh and Evan are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Karen and boys, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. I had the opportunity to visit with him (and the boys) at Robins pool just 3 weeks ago while on my trip to CT. Glenn was a very, very nice man and I'm sure he will be deeply missed by everyone. I will be thinking of all of you.

Glenn was truly, the most genuine good hearted man. You could see the love he had for your family and hear it when he spoke. He was so kind hearted and would do anything to help others. He attended and participated in the kids sports, school functions, field trips, and valued every moment he had with them. The boys have been so blessed to have spent such quality time with him over the last few months, and they will carry those memories with them.

Over these last few days, I have heard so many different people express how close they are with you & Glenn. This only shows that you both are so special and have touched the hearts of so many. We will miss Glenn so very much, and he will always remain in our hearts.

You know how much we love you and care for you all, please accept our condolences and trust we are always here for you.
