COLE, Helen DeSimone Helen DeSimone Cole, 84, of Rockport, MA, formerly of Manchester, died Tuesday, (February 16, 2004). During this past year, she was a resident at the Den Mar Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Hospice of the North Shore had also cared for her since December. In 1996, her husband, Everett J. While in Manchester, she was an administrative assistant for her local church and the Southern New England Telephone Company. During World War II, when her husband Everett served in the Marines, she worked as a "Rose-the-Riveter" type in the aircraft industry. Helen ran her own successful real estate business in the 1970s, then retired to Rockport, MA. She and her husband spent time traveling and restoring their historical home (which included the bakery that made Cape Ann's original Anadama Bread). Always happy working with her hands, Helen kept busy on home projects until she no longer could. She loved her cat DeeDee and was an avid longtime season ticket holder for her beloved Red Sox. Jim and Brenda:

My sympathies are extended to both of you and your families at this time. I have many fond memories of our families getting together when we were growing up. These I will cherish. Your Mom was extremely good to my Mother, keeping her informed of what is happening with your families and especially sending her Paula's latest CDs. Know that this will not be a pleasant entry to make in the Family Tree.

My love to all, Sue
