It was a thursday night...no particular thursday...just thursday. I had arrived at "hat's off" and within minutes Bob arrived. There was an aura of love and gratitude eminanting from his presence. A light that was shinning like a star. I couldn't help but be drawn towards it. He was smiling and talked to me about what a beautiful night it was. I hadn't noticed until Bob showed me. There was a scent of flowers in the air. The sun was setting and there were shades of purple, blue, red, orange...melting together...a transient yet beautiful gift from God. I almost missed it. To me it was just Thursday. Thank-you Bob...you are that sunset...I am humbled to have experienced the gift of your presence in my life. When I see a beautiful sunset or smell flowers on a breezy summer evening...I will know it's you, and I will share that gift with someone who otherwise might not have noticed. Thank-you for shinning on us.
