Sophie Peck, 71, of Abington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, (August 14, 2001) at her home. She was the wife of Merritt E. Peck; they were married November 15, 1986. Funeral service and burial will take place in Phoenixville, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492 or American Diabetes Association Connecticut Affiliate I, 300 Research Pky., Meriden, CT 06450. The Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam is in charge of the arrangements.
