ZIPADELLI, Charles J.Charles J. Zipadelli, 89, of Connecticut Ave., New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday (March 1, 2005). He was the widower of Lillian (Nesta) Zipadelli and the son of the late Antonio and Lena (Delgego) Zipadelli. Mr. Zipadelli was a charter member and past Deputy Chief of the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department. A former member of the New Britain Board of Police Commissioners, The Democratic Town Committee, The Board of Parking Commissioners, and The I.P.E.C. of Berlin. He was the owner of Charles Market on Corbin Ave. in New Britain for 35 years. Charles is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Charles R. and Diane Zipadelli of E. Hampton two sisters Mary Soucy of Bristol and Catherine Job of North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Adolph Nesta of New Britain; four grandchildren Scott and Greg Zipadelli both of North Carolina, Kimberly Gagliano and Tina Zipadelli both of E. Hampton; three great grand children, Thomas and Emily Gagliano both of E. Hampton and Zachary Zipadelli of North Carolina. Friends and family are invited to call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Kensington on Thursday, March 3 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 4, at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at Saint Paul’s Church, Kensington. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vippy’s Crusade for Kids, 114 Whaling La., Mooresville, NC 28117.

Deepest sympathy to Chick and family. It has been years since I have seen any of the Nestas or Zipadellis. My mother, Susan Casale Cremonese, was a first cousin of Lillian Nesta and we spent much time in Connecticut with the Nesta Family, Mauro Family and of course my mother's family - the Casales. We lived in New York at that time. Our families were very close -

The D'Angelo Family wishes to extend our deepest sympathies. Charlie and Lill were the best neighbors and friends anyone could ask for.
