16 years later and a piece still feels missing from my life, our bday js passed and we all miss u more n more everyday. ur daughter/my niece is my best friend more even like the little but not so little sister I never had that I´ll forever have her back and be the best role model I can be. All I have of you are pictures and stories and old videos and others memories to go off of to keep your memory alive, while I still sit and wish we could´ve had some of our own. It still doesn´t feel real I came into this world bearing what I didn´t know then but know now my biggest lost. We all still miss you and love you deeply your name and your legacy will live on forever LLC I love you brother.

It is approaching Chucky's 1 yr since his passing and it still feels unreal and as if it just happened.
Chuck, I think of you often and so does Gia, when she does she carries your picture around her neck. When I think of you, I send you a quick prayer. I will always remember your jokester ways since you were small...I still remember you pulling the chair from your mom on her wedding day!! :) It helps put a smile on my face.
Comai A, Compai R, Britt, Bibi, Jess, Pito, and Fam... Much love and prayers your way, that God will give you strength each and every day. And that the pain is a little less. We "Matos" family are not close by to share the pain there w/you, but we do from here. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't want to believe it when I heard that Lil' Chuckie was with us no more. I have a hope in Jesus' promise to mankind that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out (John 5: 28, 29) and I wanted to share that hope with you and your family. In the mean while, know that your baby is in a deep sleep waiting for that day to come (Ecclesiastes 9: 5 & 10) and it will come because God doesn't lie (Titus 1:2). I can't imagine the pain you are in. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope you find some form of comfort in God's word that one day all sorrow will be no more (Revelation 7:16 & 17). Look to Him for consolation and you will find it.

God's Garden:
I lost a piece of me when I lost my good~friend/Nephew, God looked around his garden in Heaven and found an empty space. He then looked upon the earth and saw Chucky face, so he put his arms around Chucky and lifted him up to Heaven's garden. I realize God's garden must be beautiful, because he only takes the best after they lay to rest. He truely knew that Chucky work here on Earth was done. He guided Chucky through life's up's and downs, and he decided to close Chuck's eyes and wisper,"Peace." He knew that losing Chucky would break all his loved ones hearts, but he also knew that it would bring us all closer. See Chucky didn't go alone, part of us also went with him that day he was chosen. Chucky went towards the bright light when he heard the call from Heaven, thats why Chucky closed his eyes that day. Well Chucky we'll all be united one day because the garden always needs work, so we will see you when we get there...

Tears run down my cheek as I write this after hearing about Chuck's passing. Chuck was a great man who loved his wife and children and bragged about his little daughter on the way. There are no words that I can say right now that will heal your broken hearts but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and that I am truly sorry for your loss.
