Steven Indino

INDINO, Steven Steven Indino, 50, of Washington St., Middletown, died Wednesday, (November 5, 2008) at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in Winsted, the son of Michael Indino, Sr., of Winsted and Julia (Johnson) LePore of Cromwell. A peacetime veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served from 1977 to 1981. Steve was the owner of his own landscaping business, commercial cleaning company and snow removal service. His hobbies were the beach, boating, and plants. Besides his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Maria (Piangenti) Waz of Middletown; three brothers, Tony Indino of Winsted, Patrick Indino of Middletown, and Jack Indino of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters, JoAnn Lesieur of Winsted, Brenda Bull of Colebrook and Deborah Crawford of Tucson, AZ; a stepmother, Margaret (Lavieri) Indino of Winsted; sister-in-law, Kathy (Hatch) Indino; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Indino, Jr. Steven will always be remembered as a loving companion, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was caring and helpful to all his family, friends, and anyone who needed him. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:15 a.m. from the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Liturgy in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Middletown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Biega Funeral Home, Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Veteran's Home and Hospital, 287 West St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
