Marty & Patsy, My deepest sympathy during this difficult time. I have only the fondest memories of "Mrs. Pigott" and both of you. She taught me many life lessons growing up on Glendale Avenue. It won't be the same without her. I had the opportunity to see her not too long ago on a visit back to the old neighborhood from Maine, where I live now. She looked wonderful and always seemed content and happy with her life. She was always so good to us and to "dad" as well. I wish I could be there today for her services, but all of you will be in my thoughts and prayers! Love, Kim

I walk at Timberland regularly and Joanne was there with her dogs nearly every time. I will miss the wave and the smile. She did a lot of good for so many.

I was deeply saddened when I read about Joanne's passing. Her dedication to search and rescue will always be remembered. I would often see her at Timberlin or Bicentenniel with her beloved pups. She was such an inspiration. She will be greatly missed.

Marty and Patsy - I am sorry for your loss. Your mother taught me an important lesson - It's hard to change the whole world but you can make a small portion of the world a better place. She will always be special to me.

So sorry for your loss. Your Mom was an outstanding teacher and coach. I remember one thing in particular ... a great lesson: She said " Girls, never say " sorry" or apologize for trying hard on the field ie:in sports... the guys don't do that & neither should you." It was okay and appropriate to be competitive... that made a big impression on me. Condolences to you and the whole family... she will be remembered and treasured far and wide.

Martha and Patricia, I want to forward my condolences on the passing of your mom--I am shocked and saddened! It has been years since I've seen either of you, but typically I would see your mother each year to discuss tree work at her house. Inevitably, our conversations would lead to a discussion about education. I always sought-out her advice, and she was very helpful with questions I might have. I always had extreme respect for your mom! Your former classmate from years gone by, and your moms tree guy.
