Michael Danahy Obituary
Michael T. Danahy, 55, the son of Neil Danahy and the late Jo-Ann (Donnelly) Danahy died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 16th at his home. Michael was born in Hartford, grew up in Manchester and has lived in New Windsor since 1998. He received his law degree from UCONN. He had previously worked at UST, Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and was currently employed by Purdue Pharma, L.P. Besides his father Michael is survived by his children Ryan Danahy and Brittany Harrison, his siblings Mary Ann Chokas and her husband Gary, Brenda Lorange and her husband Robert, Brian Danahy and Thomas Danahy and his special friend Beatriz Shusdock. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester at 11:00. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:30 - 10:30. Memorial donations may be made to the St. James School Foundation P.O. Box 254 Manchester, CT 06045. It is with heartfelt sadness I write this condolence upon learning of Michael's sudden demise. I feel for his entire family, especially his two children who loved him dearly. I pray for you daily Michael; that you have eternal peace in Heaven with our Lord Jesus. May God bless you and your family.

My sincere condolences for the lost of a son, brother and father. I worked with Mike and he was a great guy and always very helpful. Many colleagues at Purdue were so sad when we heard of his passing.

Please accept my most deeply condolences for the lose of my most dearest colleague Michael Danahy. I'm already missing him as he was such a special man.He Mentor my Son David Rodriguez during his Summer Internship with Purdue Pharma LP. I will miss his great smile and loyalty.
