Robert, this is Bill Armstrong. we were good friends in Carlinville. I've moved back after retirement, enjoying life and much travel. Get in touch if you get this. Ren Draya at Blackburn can give you my contacts.

I'm so glad to have been able to keep up with Spence and Editha in the last decade, visiting his studio in Paso Robles once a year or so, and was so impressed with the continuing quality of his work and vision. He so generously gave me a lovely little landscape that I admired that is hanging in my house now. He was a wonderful and kind colleague and represented days when our areas were not so "silo'd" in that he was an accomplished art historian as well as a painter. Farewell Spence!
