Robert Motta Presutti Obituary

Robert Motta Presutti, Jr., 57, of Wethersfield, CT, beloved husband for 33 years of Anna Marie (Albert) Presutti, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, February 13, 2017. Born in Hartford on November 11, 1959, and brought up in Wethersfield, Bob is the son of Robert Presutti, Sr. and Lucia (Motta) Presutti, of Durham. In addition to his loving wife and parents, Bob is also survived by his two sons, Robert "Robbie" Presutti, III of Brooklyn, NY and Michael Presutti of Washington, DC; his brother, Cristopher Presutti and wife Maribeth Presutti of Durham; his niece, Amanda Presutti; nephew, Andrew Presutti and countless other beloved relatives and friends. Bob graduated from South Catholic High School in Hartford in 1978, and went on to meet his wife at Assumption College, in Worcester, MA, both graduating in 1982. Throughout his life, Bob's greatest joy was being in the company and sharing in the blessings of all of his family and many friends. Always full of love and kindness, Bob relished all of the positive things in life, including the endless summers he spent on Cape Cod with his family on the beach, cooking delicious food throughout the year, socializing with the many friends he made along his journey in life, and traveling to visit his boys along their own journeys. Additionally, Bob greatly valued his Italian heritage, as a member of the Pratolana M.B. Society of Hartford, and his travels to Italy. Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew him. One of Bob's greatest wishes was to join together in celebration of his life. To that end, while funeral and burial services will be private with his immediate family, there will be a celebration of his life held in several weeks in the South End of Hartford. Further details will follow. Bob greatly believed in the value of education, which allowed for so many blessings in his and his family's lives. To that end, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Ben Bronz Foundation at 141 North Main St., West Hartford, CT 06107 or by visiting http://www.benbronzacademy.org/. The D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield is assisting the family. To share a memory of Bob with his family, please visit www.desopo.com.
