Lillian B. Frew, 90, of Windsor Locks, entered into eternal peace Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Bickford Healthcare in Windsor Locks. The daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Wombacher) Button, Lil was born December 21, 1926 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield where she was raised. She resided in the Enfield community until 1966 before moving to Windsor Locks. She was retired from the Sate of CT where she was employed as Director of Fiscal Services for the Dept. of Income Maintenance for 27 years. Lil enjoyed going to the beach, horse racing, and swimming in her pool. She is survived by her son, Timothy Frew and his wife Claire of Windsor Locks, a granddaughter, Heather Frew of NY, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Firtion and Eloise Bissonnette and a Brother, Edward Button. One hour of visitation will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 10 - 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Committal will follow at Enfield Street Cemetery. Donations in Lillian's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association P.O.
