My condolences to the Cone family on the passing of your father and husband. Through the years, Bill and I would see each other around town or at Sandy's. Bill was always remembered me and always made me laugh.

Nancy, we are so sorry to learn that Bill has passed away. To you, Nancy, and to all in your Family, we struggle to find the right words to tell you just how much Bill meant to us. His wonderful voice and how he used that voice to express himself. His sense of humor. His strong faith in God and his deep, deep love for you, Nancy. These are some of the things that Bill easily and comfortably expressed to us, with that special voice of his. Bill was a good man and we truly loved him.

So sorry to hear of Bills passing. We have nothing but fond memories of days gone by. We will always cherish those Sunday mornings at Saint Andrew Hall with coffee, donuts, kids all over the place and those great conversations that often continued at someone's house for a barbecue, a picnic, and the singing that would often and the day. Nancy, Billy, Michael, Wendy, Cheryl and Cindy, know you are in our thoughts and prayers and we will be thinking of you on Monday.

We can't find the words to say how sorry we are to hear of Bills passing and how he will be missed. One of the things we loved about Bill was you never had to wonder where he stood on an issue. He was passionate about his beliefs. Bill was a kind person who loved his family, loved his church and loved fishing. He loved life. He will be greatly missed.
God-speed Bill.

To Bill's family, our deepest sympathy in the passing of this great man. If I can do anything, please let me know.
Bill, my fly tying buddy, you were always a ray of joy and happiness. I looked forward to our long conversations on life, retail, and trout fishing. Our friendship means a lot to me, and your absence is greatly felt at Twenty8west. Bill loved his family in a way that was inspirational and automatically endeared him to us. He was an Artist, one of the most knowledgeable fly tyers I've seen. Bill, we love you and will miss you immensely. God speed my friend. Adam

As the numbers of "those who once were young together in Colchester" dwindle, I find myself going back in memory to those days in the '70's and being ever so grateful both for those years and for those who peopled them. Bill's smile and his extraordinary readiness to help, whatever the occasion or the person in need, remain emblazoned on my recall. His ability to smoothe Father Walter's fears and anxieties was a trait I sorely envied. His kindness seemed unlimited, and his goodness seemed, at times, unfathomable. Bill will long be for me an inspirational figure, one well worth the emulation! I will join with you in prayer on Monday afternoon, as we say "Farewell and Thanks" to a truly unforgettable man, for whose presence in my life I will always be grateful. Fond best wishes to you Nancy, Wendy, Billy, Michael, Cheryl, Cindy.

Dear Wendy, please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of your dad. His photo depicts a happy person, with a great sense of humor and such a pleasant countenance, someone I would want to meet. You were blessed to have him as long as you did. I hope good memories fill your heart and bring you joy for many years to come. Lynda McMaster-Schuyler
