Conoy Williams
Richton
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Sunset Cemetery in Richton, for Mr. Conoy Williams, 91, of Richton who passed away March 15, 2013 at Perry County General Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Jones & Son Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Floyd Goar, Cecil Ray Edwards, Chris Williams, Mikey Williams and L.D. Ready. Honorary pallbearer, Kenny Bradley.
Mr. Williams was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richton and was a member of the W.L. Brock Sunday School Class. He was real active in the Richton Jaycees for many years and was instrumental in getting the Richton Jaycee swimming pool. He was a retired manager of the R.D. Phillips Oil Co. in Richton after 33 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Merle Williams of Richton; sons, Henry (Ann) Williams of Jackson and Mike (Lolita) Williams of Richton; grandsons, Mikey (Teresa) Williams of Mobile, AL and Chris (Jane Clair) Williams of Richton; 3 great-grandchildren, Triston Everett Williams and Isabella Williams, both of Mobile, AL and Brody Williams of Richton; caregivers, Ellen Bolton and Pat McSwain, both of Richton.
