Charles E. Bastine
Petal
Charles E. Bastine, 69, of Petal, died Thursday, November 22, 2012, at Forrest General Hospital. Services will be Sunday November 25, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Petal Chapel followed by interment at Forrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bastine was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Nettie Bastine and a brother, David Bastine.
Mr. Bastine was a member of Carterville Baptist Church. He was an engineer for Amtrak, the Illinois Central Railroad, as well as the B&HS Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Tiny Mae Bastine of Petal; a daughter, Teresa Napier of Petal; a brother, Jerry Bastine of Petal; five sisters, Frances Wood of Petal; Peggy Ramsey of Winnie, TX; Janie Carswell of Winnie, TX; Ruby Bastine of Petal; Angie Nelson of Sanford; and a grandson, Ryan Napier of Hattiesburg.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
