RUTH HARDIN Obituary

Ruth Ann Hardin, age 77, of New Castle, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Katherine Cowherd Quisenberry. She was a bookkeeper at Holland Pharmacy for 37 years. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by a sister.
She is survived by her husband Vaden Hardin of New Castle; daughter, Dina Nunez (Mike) of Louisville; son, Drew Hardin (Stacey) of Pendleton; sister, Emma Harris of Nicholasville; and grandchildren, Micah Hardin, Jenna Hardin, Michael Nunez and Jennifer Nunez.
Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Earl Wayne Perry. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday Oct. 29, 2018, at New Castle Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Cecil McCarty, Tommy Singleton, George Bell, Darren Owens, Joe Edelstein, Gene Garrett and Dennis Vaughn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Baptist Health Foundation, 4007 Kresge Way, Louisville, Ky. 40207.
