David Bates Obituary
BATES David John It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of David John Bates after a long and courageous battle with illness. David, aged 76 years, died peacefully at home on Sunday 6th June 2021.
Beloved husband of Heather, loving Dad, father-in-law, Grandad, Brother, Brother-in-law, uncle and cousin. A much respected Honourable friend to many and Secretary of the ENCO Halifax cricket league. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
A private Celebration of David's Life will be held at 2.15pm on Monday 28th June 2021 at Park Wood Crematorium, Elland - by invitation only. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Forget Me Not Children's Hospice via their website.
