GEORGE ACKER Obituary
GEORGE ROGER ACKER, 53, of Huntington, died Sept. 13 at his residence. He was the Manager of the Kroger Fuel Center, 7th Avenue. He was born July 13, 1965, in Huntington, the son of the late George Homer Roger Acker and the late Linda Lou Hatfield Spencer. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Raechelle Maria Linnea Matney. He is survived by his life partner, Ginger Denney; son, Roger Cody Acker; daughter, Kayla Alexandria Acker; granddaughter and grandsons, Jada and Jude "Lil Man" Sparks and Jackson Keesee; stepfather, Ray Spencer; sisters, Angie Acker, Amanda Dawes and Sarah Terry; brothers, Scott Acker, Anthony Acker and Brandon Terry; and stepbrother, Tim Spencer. Visitation will be Monday, September 17, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations toward funeral expenses payable to Wallace Funeral Home, P.O. Box 7, Barboursville, WV 25504, Attention: George R. Acker. I remember going to a school dance at Barboursville Junior High School
with him and he had cast on both arms. He asked my daddy if he could be my boyfriend and take me to the dance. Rest In Peace Dear Friend ! Lots of great memories with you!
