Norman Feinberg Obituary

FEINBERG, NORMAN, age 83, of Hollywood died peacefully June 28th, 2007 After a long battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). He is survived by Saralyne, his wife of 60 years, brother Donald (Naomi), children Helene Wack (Michael), Wendie Feinberg, Lloyd Feinberg (Eric Storch.) , grandchildren Evan Wack (Angela), Rebecca Wack, and great-grandson Nathan Wack. Norman came to South Florida with Saralyne after serving in World War II, and as a building contractor, helped shape the region with his construction projects. He was active in Jewish Federation in Broward County, and volunteered as a ham radio operator. He traveled around the globe with Saralyne and his family.. loved to play and watch tennis.. rooted for the Dolphins and the Marlins.. and loved horse racing, even at one time owning a stable and enjoying the occasional trip to the Winners Circle. He was a winner - a man with a good spirit.. always ready to help others, always ready with a smile and a kind word, always ready with a joke. We, his family, are winners, too.. having been blessed by his love, his warmth, and his guidance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy, 1903 South Congress Avenue, Suite 400, Boynton Beach, Florida 33426. Funeral services (today) Friday, June29th, 2 pm at Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapel, Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 Northwest 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida. Dear Feinberg Family and Extended Family-

"Uncle" Norman epitomized the definition of gentle-man. What a treat and pleasure it was to share at his 80th gala. My mind went into rewind mode and all I could think about was my fondest childhood memories of the fun and laughter @ the backyard pool and in sharing the Jewish New Year all together.
G-d bless his gentle and one-of-a-kind soul.
