ROCKMAN, CHARLES N. In joyous memory of Charles "Chuck or "Rocky", 76, who passed quietly on November 1, 2018, with his loving wife of 56 years, Kathy, by his side. Chuck was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 17, 1942. He was the eldest of three children born to William and Lillian Rockman. The family moved to Miami in 1955. Chuck worked for the USPS and held many positions over 37 years, retiring in 2002. Chuck had many accomplishments that he was very proud of. A 50 year Gold Card Member of the National Assoc. of Letter Carriers, member of Mahi Shriners and the South Miami Coral Gables Elks Lodge #1676. He was Exalted Ruler of the Elks in 1978. He was of a man of many talents and loved all people. His upbeat and fun personality won over the hearts of many. His family was the center of his world. He was a very committed grandfather, or "pops," and enjoyed teaching his grandkids how to use his tools, creating many different projects. He was always eager to watch their many talent shows and costume parades, and continuously supported them as they grew. His spirit will survive through the loving memory of his family and friends. Chuck had 7 grandchildren, Kyle, Connor, Quinn, Tyler, Kristen, Hunter, and Kira, raised by his 3 wonderful children, Kimberly, Kelly with husband Timothy Reker, and Charles with love Karen Castillo. His brother Louis Rockman and wife Michelle, and sister Bonnie Egger who gave him many nieces and nephews to love. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck's memory to the . Memorial 11/12/2018 at 6pm with service at 6:30pm, South Miami Elks Lodge, 6304 SW 78 St. Miami FL 33143.
