MASTIN, JAMES R., of Miami, on Sunday, July 24, 2016. For 36 years, he was the beloved husband of Deborah Bovarnick Mastin. Loving father of Loren Mastin Ward, Seth Mastin & Taly Dvorkis, and Jonathan Mastin. Adored grandfather of Samantha, Angela, Ashton, and Niko. Memorial services at Beth David Congregation, 2625 SW 3rd Ave, Miami on Monday, July 25 at 6:00pm, and the family will attend services at the synagogue on Friday, July 29 at 7:00pm. Remembrances may be made to the James Mastin Memorial Fund at the Miami Foundation. James was an internationally renowned artist, with major public sculptures in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, The Bahamas (Loyalist Memorial Sculpture Garden); Key West, FL (Key West Historic Memorial Sculpture Garden); and Franklin Square, Savannah, GA (Les Chausseurs Volontaires or Battle of Savannah). He was also an accomplished singer and enjoyed performing.
