COSGROVE, JOHN, The first Mayor of Cutler Bay, beloved husband, father, former State of Florida Representative, and friend of many, John Francis Cosgrove passed away April 19, 2006. John and his daughter, Tiffany Adair Cosgrove were on a train tour in Zimbabwe when John began having medical complications from a ruptured appendix. John was a loving husband, father, brother, and caring friend to all. He was a public servant for over twenty years serving in the Florida House of Representatives. He helped create and became the first mayor of the newly incorporated town of Cutler Bay. He was involved with many charities and organizations and he was loved and admired and will be truly missed. John is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Bernadine Cosgrove; his son, Michael 34; his daughter, Tiffany 22, his daughter Colleen 21; his mother, Vivian Rafferty; his younger siblings, sister, Sandra Brindle and family; brother, Frank Cosgrove and family; sister, Jamie Smith and family; father- in-law, Rudy Revay; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Miller, Marlene Rafferty, Christine Johnson and their families and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 18455 Franjo Road, (S.W. 97th ave) Cutler Bay, Fla. 33157 on Friday, April 28th from 3:00 - 5:00 PM and from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 29th at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any one of John's many favorite organizations: For brotherhood: Phi Kappa Tau Foundation, John F.
