We enjoyed John's company and were privileged to count him as a friend during our trips to Mazatlan in 2008 and 2010.

John's humility, generosity, dry sense of humor, plus his desire to do something meaningful in life put him in high esteem by many.

Best wishes to Kimberly and family.

John and Kimberly were two of the first people I met in 2009 in Mazatlan at the Sunday Mazinfo get-togethers when I went to Maz for my first winter there. We remained friends for the last 10 years and although I spent more time with Kimberly, I always enjoyed John's company and cheerful warmth. He will be very missed in Mazatlan, and condolences to Kimberly and family.
