Joseph David Shein, formerly of Merion, PA and Key Biscayne, FL, a life long advocate for injured people passed away at the age of 91 on October 8, 2017. A loving husband, dedicated father grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet (Mazer); his children, Benjamin (Nancy), Matthew, Alexis (Austin) Murray and Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Samantha, Jason, Maxwell, Kendall, Luna and Larkin; his sister, Rosalie Pressman and his brother, Norman Shein. A graduate of Penn State and Georgetown Law, he served our country in the United States Navy during WWII. A former state judge advocate and commander of the VFW, he was an avid art and antiques collector and golfer who also enjoyed classical music and travel.
