HOFFMAN, L. JOSEPH When I first saw Joe, looking at him, it was love at first sight. I still hear bells and whistles and sirens whenever I think of him. It was a 46 year honeymoon. He was the love of my life, the best husband and father to our beloved German shepherds Odin and Raina. We had 4-legged furry children in our lives from the day we met. Joe was born in Wichita, Kansas on May 12, 1943, moving to Miami in 1955. He attended the University of Miami and got his law degree from the University of Florida. Joe shared a passion with his wife Anita, for American paintings, sculpture and decorative arts, as well as an enthusiasm and joy for Chinese Pottery and Architecture. They enjoyed many trips and adventures, creating photo travel albums highlighting destinations explored in the United States and around the World. He was kind, generous and funny, passionate, thoughtful and intelligent. There will never be anyone like him ever again. A memorial remembrance will be held at Temple Beth Am on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 am. Donations in Remembrance may be made to Temple Beth Am of to the Animal Aid Organization or Pet Rescue Program of your choice.
