Obituary
  • "I am sorry for your loss. May the love you receive from..."

Normadine Boxer Berger of San Francisco, formerly of Miami, Florida passed away May 1, 2018 after a long life filled with love, family and friendship. She was born June 21, 1923 in St. Louis, MO and lived in Miami for 71 years. She was predeceased in 2014 by her husband, Howard, after 68 wonderful years of marriage. They first met at a bus stop, where it was love at first sight. After his passing she moved to San Francisco where she spent the last years of her life close to family, whose lives she enriched immeasurably with her good humor, warmth, and engaging stories of days past. She was mother to Bruce (Zoe) and Mitchel (Joan) and loving grandmother to Lindsay, Alex, Brett and Rayna. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Pont, whom she adored. She excelled at Mah Jong and Gin, and regularly won at Bingo. Her Bingo winnings were used to play more Mah Jong. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life and she spent as much time as possible with them. She brought great joy to those who knew her best and she will be missed terribly and remembered always.
