NORWOOD, VIRGINIA EASTERLIN May 18, 1930-May 13, 2018 | Corinthians 15:57 "Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." A graduate of Miami High, Class of 1948, Ginny was famed for her incredible drum majorette skills with the Univ. of Miami's Band of the Hour. A proud member of Delta Zeta Sorority throughout her life, she was a huge Miami Hurricanes' football fan. She was a beloved and devoted wife to the Rev. Merrill Lincoln Easterlin for 37 years and to Mr. Robert R. Norwood for 13 years. She leaves behind her dear loved ones: son, John Howard Easterlin of New York, NY and daughter, Janet Easterlin Wright, J.D. of S. Miami, son-in-law Robert T. Wright, Sr.; grandchildren: Robert T. Wright, Jr. Ph. D, ("her Robby"), Ainsley Virginia Wright Bjernegaard, ("her namesake and lookalike") and husband Sebastian T. Bjernegaard, and Anne Elizabeth Wright ("her ballerina"). Ginny, has come home into the arms of Jesus and lives because He lives. She loved because He first loved us. She has "arrived."
