Wilber Lee Parker, 89, went home to be with Jesus and his beloved wife, Mavalane, on Thursday, August 2. Wilber resided in Miami for 65 years. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and worked for Sears & Roebuck Co. for 35 years. Wilber was a loving uncle and "dad" to Tracy Ball and Valerie Culpepper. Uncle Wilber was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Wilber will be greatly missed by all his family and friends, especially by those at Heartland where he called home for the past 5 years. "If you go bowling, stay in your lane!" Visitation will be Sunday, August 12 at 1:00 pm with services to follow at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South 11655 SW 117Th Ave, Kendall.
