Arthur Westhouse Obituary
Art is survived by his wife of 63 years, Karen and four children Laura Westhouse Peterson (Dennis), James Westhouse (Jennie), Pamela Westhouse (Kent) and Mary Westhouse-Williams (Mark). He also leaves behind four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a Korean War veteran. After his service, he attended Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls.
Art met his soul mate in Dorris. He and Karen married and became residents there. He worked at the Dorris Lumber and Moulding mill for 42 years. Also during that time, he built the house Karen and he called home for 45 years.
Art was a devoted baseball fan. His team was the Chicago Cubs. He played and enjoyed coaching Little League and Babe Ruth League in his younger years.
A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Dorris, Calif.
