There was a glorious reunion in heaven April 9, 2013, when Donavan "Bucket" Scott Williamson was reunited with his much beloved "Papa."
Although Donavan, who was born Sept. 1, 1997, left this earth much too early at the age of 15, he touched the hearts and souls of people in a way that would usually take a lifetime.
He never met a stranger, always had a hug and smile for you, and everyone was either his buddy, his Kool-Aid or his future wife. He loved his family, HoHo, his dogs, his friends and staff at Mazama High School, "goggy bunter," Charlie, and the Wiggles, but even they all paled in comparison to his love for french fries.
Donavan is survived by his loving mother Tracy, his siblings Debbie Sue (Darin) Fuller, Corrine (Gary) Gallagher, Dennis "bro" Williamson, and Don (Crystal) Williamson; his nieces and nephews Ki Ki Marie, Mike, Samantha, Kyle, Joshua, Jeffrey, Autumn, Patrick, Cory, Christopher, Danielle, David, Zack, Lacey and Loretta Merserve; his aunts Gail Hamilton and Ann Claiborne.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Williamson.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mazama High School. In remembrance of Donavan's love of Christmas, the family requests that Christmas colors be worn.
Donations in Donavan's memory can be made to Donavan Williamson Scholarship Fund c/o Mazama High School, 3009 Summers Lane, Klamath Falls, OR 97603.
