Lynnell  Holland Obituary
Lynnell Holland passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Klamath Falls, Ore.  She was born Oct. 11th, 1932 in McAdoo, Texas, and graduated from high school in Rio Vista, Texas June of 1950, then received her BS degree in home economics June of 1955 in Texas.  It was also in June of 1950 Lynnell married her life long sweetheart after graduation from high school.  This June would have made the 60th anniversary for the couple.
Both Lynnell and Lloyd worked as high school teachers in Kansas and South Dakota from 1955 thru 1962.  Two sons, Jerry and Larry moved with the couple to Klamath County and Lynnell has lived the last 48 years of her life here.  She taught home economics 2 years at Bly, OR and then transferred to Chiloquin High School as a home economics teacher where later served as a counselor until retiring in  1991 after 29 years of service for Klamath County School District.
Lynnell was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lane Holland and is survived by her husband: Lloyd Delbert Holland, Klamath Falls, Ore.;  son and wife: Larry Lee and Maureen "Missy" Holland; grandson: Hunter David Holland all Pueblo, Colo.; sisters: Dorothy (Hines) Rawlings, Knoxville, Kentucky, Vera Ayn (Hines) Wieskamp, Livermore, Calif., and numerous other relatives in California, Texas and Tennessee. 
Lynnell was also a key partner and participant in Deerland Park Zoo, Curio Shop and Flea Market, a family business that operated just north of Klamath Falls, Ore., during the summers of 1969 to 1980.  She was also vice president and a major partner in Dreamshadow Corporation, a closely held family business that has operated in Delaware, Colorado and Nebraska from 1991 to the present.  Lynnell was a most helpful person who often had good advice and guidance for friends and family.  Her helping hand and well thought guidance will be missed by many of us.  She was always an inspiration to us all!
 A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, May 24, 2010 in Davenport's Chapel at 2p.m..  Visitation today from 2p.m. until 6p.m. will be held at the Chapel.  At Lynnell's request disposition will be completed at Pyramid Cremations.  Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, directors, 6420 South Sixth St. Klamath Falls, OR  is in charge of the arrangements.
