Nancy Ganger Obituary
Nancy lived an amazing life in San Francisco. She tried so hard to be discovered as a singing sensation out of her bedroom window, not realizing it would be hard to hear someone from the alley. Although she was not discovered then, she continued to enjoy singing every chance she got. She attended Lowell High School, then continued to UC Berkley, where she studied for four years, graduating with a bachelor's degree. She went back to school when her children had grown a bit, to Dominican College to study to become a Paralegal, which she worked in for many years in San Francisco.
In 1953, Nancy met and fell in love with Jim McLaughlin; they were married in 1954. Their first child, Kim, was born in 1956; their second child, Brien, arrived in 1961.
Nancy and Jim's greatest love, besides each other, was their granddaughter, Leslie Kirby Nicholson. She brought all the light and love to accentuate their lives. In 1999, Nancy and Jim moved to Tulelake to be closer to their family.
In 2006, Jim passed away after a lengthy illness.
Nancy again found love. In 2008, she married Bill Ganger. It was a wonderful time filled with laughter, family, and friends. In 2017, Bill passed away.
In 2018, Nancy moved to Crystal Terrace, where she met some amazing friends, played cards, worked on puzzles, swam, created beautiful Diamond Dot artwork, and socialized every day.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Jim & Bill, and brother Bob.
Nancy is survived by her children, Kim & Don Kirby, Brien & Amy McLaughlin, Grandchildren Leslie & Kevin Nicholson, great-grandchildren Caileigh & Isabelle Nicholson, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Crystal Terrace in Klamath Falls, Oregon, on September 13, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to the "Young Gunz" shooting club to preserve the hunting and shooting experience for our youth. c/o Cal-Ore Wetlands P.O. Box 122 Tulelake, CA 96134.

Aunt CyCy was so fun to be around! What a great personality she had. We sure missed her at family gatherings when she moved North. Sorry for your great loss Kim and Brian. Love and Hugs to your families
