Andrew Lee Weathers of LaPine, Ore., went to join his lovely wife Carol on May 2, 2010.
Lee was born in Salem, Ore., on Nov. 6, 1935, and was the eldest son of Albert and Mary.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served his country during the Korean Conflict.
After his discharge from the Navy, he drove truck for Luther Barnes Trucking of Salem and drove truck for many years for numerous companies.
He is survived by his daughter Anne Becker of Salem; step-son Danny Otto of McMinnville, Ore.; step-daughter Donna Weathers of Edmonds, Wash.; granddaughters Melissa Shortt of Monmouth, Ore., Andrea Otto of Lynnwood, Wash., and Elizabeth Strom-Deason of Portland, Ore.; siblings Gary Weathers of New Albany, Miss., Larry Weathers of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Charlotte Bale of Salem; and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at Shasta Way Christian Church in Klamath Falls at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19. Lee will be interred at a private service at the Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point at a later date.
