Barbara Hannah (Huebsch) Miller Obituary
ANNA - Barbara Hannah Huebsch Miller was called to be with the Lord and passed very peacefully, while being surrounded by her family at home in Anna, Texas on August 9, 2018.
Barbara was born July 18, 1934 at home in Westminster, Texas to Olivia Cleveland and Brodie Huebsch. She was raised in the Methodist church and of the Christian faith. She learned and loved to play the piano. Her father was a dairy cow farmer and Barbara labored milking cows before school each morning and evening. She attended school in Westminster, Texas and graduated Valedictorian of her class. She married the love of her life, Hamilton Miller on February 27, 1954. They enjoyed spending time at the lake, boating and fishing. Barbara loved dancing. She enjoyed the two step and polka dancing with her husband Hamp. They had four children that she loved unconditionally and was very active in their school activities. Barbara was a real estate agent and sold many properties.
Barbara and Hamp owned and worked the Hwy. 121 store and Desert store together for many years. She was a wonderful homemaker and best friend to her loving husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was patient, humble and very, very kind. Barbara enjoyed sitting outside her home watching the flowers, wild life, live stock and children playing. Barbara's favorite times were spent with the many, many children and family that entered her home.
Mama Barbara will be terribly missed by her fur babies, Lyla, Girl and Honey. Barbara is survived by her husband Hamilton Miller, son Ronny and wife Pam Miller of Anna, Texas. Daughters, Olivia Janice Suarez of Van Alstyne, Texas, and Anna Miller of Anna, Texas. Grandchildren, Stacy and husband Stephen Bergman, Josh H. Miller, Jessica Summers, Lauren Suarez and husband Colby; Julia Suarez, Jennie and husband Justin Stroup; Madelyn and husband Keith Vaughan. 11 Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Lucretia & husband Larry Winkle, Wyvette Adams Estes, Wyvonne Robertson Brecheen, Carol Lawrence, Linda Gail Reid, and many nieces and nephews and extended families who loved her.
She was preceded in death by one brother Bernard Huebsch and one loving son Wyman H. Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2018 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel with Stephen Bergman, Josh Miller, Justin Stroup, Keith Vaughan, Colby Hemphill, Tyler Sperry, Michael Miller and Aaron Davis, serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
