ARLINGTON, Tx. – Kimberly Joyce (KJ) Dunnachie, 20 died Wednesday, December 10th, 2014 at her father's residence in Arlington, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday December 14 at the Western Heights Church of Christ. A reception at the church will immediately follow the funeral. The family received friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at Waldo Funeral Home.
Kimberly was born September 29, 1994 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Russell Dunnachie and Diana (Dunnachie) Gillum. She attended Sherman public schools from the 4th through 12th grades, graduating from Sherman High School in May 2013 with honors. Kimberly loved and was very active in sports, playing basketball, volleyball and throwing the discus in track for the Bearcats. She was currently employed by Cracker Barrel. KJ had attended some classes at Grayson College and hoped to become a math teacher. She loved animals and was devoted to her dogs and horses. She loved music, hanging out with her friends, and traveling. KJ was a deeply caring person who had found the true meaning of family. She will be deeply missed by all those that she touched.
Kimberly is survived by her mother, Diana Gillum, ESL/Bilingual aide at Fairview Elementary in Sherman, step-father, Mike Gillum, PE teacher at Fairview, 8 yr. old brother, Michael James Gillum, older sister, 25 yr. old Vanessa Dunnachie of San Diego, older brother, 28 yr. old Steven Dunnachie of Allentown, Pennsylvania, and four siblings from her father's remarriage, 3 yr. old Sophia Dunnachie, 6 yr. old Dustin Dunnachie, 8 yr. old John Dunnachie & 17 yr. old Derek Dunnachie, grandparents, Gustavo & Alejandra Avila of Panama City, Panama, grandmother Kathleen McCoy of Trenton, New Jersey, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
