BONHAM - Rosary service for Stephanie Genevieve Pollock, age 94, of Leonard, TX will be on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home, Bonham, TX from 6-8 pm. Father Paul Weinberger will hold funeral Mass and Michael F. Pollock will serve at the alter at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 at St Williams Catholic Church in Greenville, TX. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery. Mrs. Pollock passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Dallas Methodist Medical Center.

Stephanie Genevieve (Cichanowicz) Pollock was born in Riverhead, NY on August 9, 1921 to Frank and Sofia Cichanowicz. She started her government career with the draft board during WWII, where she met her husband John Pollock. They married August 14, 1942 in Riverhead, NY. She continued working for the government with the Department of Agriculture starting at Plum Island, later moving to Washington, DC. When Richard Nixon became president, she was asked to be on his staff, where she worked in administration answering President Nixon's personal mail and phone calls. Later she went to work for the Department of Defense where she retired. She was a devoted wife, mother, an author, an artist, an avid gardener, and 4-H club leader who enjoyed the country life, especially bird watching.

She is survived by son, Michael and wife Valerie; daughters, Bernadette and Mary and husband Arthur; 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, siblings and parents.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bob Ross, John Pollock, Stephen Pollock, and Michael Pollock.
