Belinda Galde, 64 was tragically taken from her loved ones on September 23, 2016. Belinda was born on November 8, 1951, in Everett, Wash. The beloved daughter of Rogers Wilson and Beatrice Wilson-Dotson. Loving wife for over 43 years to Michael Galde. Cherished mother of Mariah Galde Foster (Rob Foster) and Alysia Galde Hudson (Roman Hudson). Loving sister of Sheila Thacker. Nana to William, Chase, Mykah, Austin, and Abby. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Belinda was a probation officer for 27 years for Snohomish County. She was highly respected in her field, and positively touched the lives of so many of her clients. She will be remembered for her love and kindness, her amazing hugs, contagious laugh, and her commitment to her family and community. She was preceded in death by mother, Beatrice Wilson-Dotson (whom the angels took along with Belinda), dad, Rogers Wilson, brothers, Ron Wilson, Rex Wilson, John Wilson, father and mother-in-law, Roy and Marilyn Galde and best friend, Judy Gentry. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday October 7, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Center in Darrington, 570 Sauk Ave Darrington, WA 98241. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Belinda Galde Memorial Fund at any KeyBank.

I think of her so often; so many things remind me of her, the laughter, the secrets, the meals, the classes we took together, the cases we shared and worked on together and in the early years, Belinda sharing the struggles and victories of her beloved daughters; boy, was she proud!. But most of all, I remember Belinda taking me to Deception Pass to throw flowers over the bridge at the most difficult time of my life; only she knew why and understood. We shared our lives and our hearts. She will never be forgotten and forever loved.

Each day we cross paths with tens or hundreds of people and on that rare occasion we meet someone who touches us deeply. Belinda was one of those who meant to touch others and encourage them to change for the better. It's hard to reconcile why a special and important person should be taken from us in such a tragic way. If we choose to remember that painful event, it will diminish all of her work done here with us. Let's remember her with love and admire her successes as an example to us all.

My heart was broken a week or so ago when I found out about the deaths of Belinda and her mom Bea. It had been years since I had seen them last, but I remember the years ago when I was around them. What a lovely family they were. This was such a tragic event, and it took away the life of these two fine ladies. They will be greatly missed by those who knew them and lived close by them. Heaven gained two angels when Belinda and Bea passed thru the heavenly gates. It is the friends and family's loss that they are no longer here on this earth. RIP sweet ladies. Loved you both.

Over the years, by watching her love for her two precious daughters, and then her grand children, I learned what a mother, and grandmother should be. Her laugh, all I can say was that she made me laugh and it was fantastic! I had the pleasure of being her hairdresser for years and we became close and could laugh at the bond of a fellow hairdresser. Although she was a probation officer for 29 years she was a hairdresser before that. Something that is never out of your system. I would look so forward to seeing her and bea. There are no words to express how much the world has lost without her and bea.
