Alice was born December 7, 1920 in Kadoka, South Dakota to Samuel Washburn and Jesse (Keene) Washburn. She passed away at her home in Mukilteo, Washington on February 10, 2011 following a gradual decline resulting from congestive heart failure.
Our dear Alice, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, she liked to be called G.G. in her later life, aunt and friend to many lead a full life.
She enjoyed several years of travel with her husband, Francis, who preceded her in death in 1988.
In early years, when Francis was a building contractor, Alice was his chief finisher.
In her later years she enjoyed swimming at the Y in Mukilteo and made many lasting friends that she swam with who took her to plays and concerts.
Alice is survived by her son, Larry Campbell (Rose); daughter, Jean Osborn (John); four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
At Alice's request there will be no memorial service. Donated remembrances in Alice's name may be made to the American Heart Associate; or MS Society.
