David L. Jamieson (1931 - 2018)

Oct. 29, 1931 - Dec. 9, 2018 Born on October 29, 1931, David was given back to his Lord on December 9, of 2018 after suffering from complications of a stroke. He was born and raised in the Riverside area of Everett, WA and was one of the original Riverside Rats football team. David (Dave to all who knew him) graduated from Everett High School in 1949. Unsure of which direction his life should follow he asked his father what he should do. The answer was to join the Military. Dave joined the Marines during the Korean War from 1950 to 1954. Semper FI! After serving with the Marines, Dave found his calling as an electrician beginning his career working for Ray Keith Neon in Everett, and became a lifelong member of IBEW Local 191. Dave also worked on the Alaska Pipeline and for the Boeing Company where he eventually retired. Dave enjoyed the company of many friends, or a game of pool at the American Legion, VFW, or the Eagles Club where he was a lifetime member. Dave was preceded in death by his father, David W. Jamieson and mother, Marjorie (Bernice); and brother, Richard (Dick), and great grandson, Koalton Mailloux. He leaves behind his sisters, Marjorie Wicher, Catherine Vance and husband, Bobby, Carol Wood and husband, Dan; his loving family: son, Daren Jamieson and his wife, Leah; daughters, Stacy Peterson and husband, Chip, and Lori Mailloux and her husband, Dan. Dave was very proud of and enjoyed his grandchildren, Alexandria, Samantha, David, Samuel, Ryan and Jimmy; along with three great grandchildren, Ryder, Kalina, and Damon. A private interment ceremony will be held at the cemetery in Arlington, WA.
