David Sawyer Obituary
David Sawyer
David grew up in Lake Stevens and graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1956 and then moved to Everett to start a family of his own. David was full of life and loved his family and friends. He had a strong passion for fishing and gardening. David made his career in the lumber industry.
He leaves behind his wife, Frances; children, Alisa (Mark) Delisle, Teresa Martin, Karlene (Curt) Nielsen, Tom (MaryAnn) Sawyer, Davene (John) Johnson and Chuck Sawyer; sisters, Charlene (Bill) Leese and Anita (Bob) Kroeze; grandchildren, Sarah Sanchez, John Delisle, Melissa Cain,
Jessica and Mackenzie Martin, Brandi Bock, Matthew and Brittany Nielsen, David and Angela Sawyer and Karissa and Jayden Johnson; and 11 great grandchildren.
A special thank you to the Everett Puget Sound Kidney Center for their loving care. David greatly appreciated their friendship.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 1 p.m., Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2521 Lombard, Everett with a reception following.
David was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.

These kinds of men do not exist any longer. This man leaves a huge legacy in the building of the Pacific Northwest. His gentl nature is what made him the greatest mentor for many at Lee Masters and beyond. We need more David Sawyers in this day and age.
Sure miss you uncle... a sound mind in a world of chaos.

David was such a quiet, gentle, caring person. He seemed to know when someone needed a word of encouragement, a hug or just show love. I know this because he gave all of them to me. May he rest in God's love and peace. He'll be greatly missed!
