I worked with Gary at KAYO radio in Seattle during the 70s. I hadn't seen him in years. We used to have good times. I have wondered what has happened to him. I am sorry to see he has passed on.

I grew up in Everett in the 50s and 60s and remember the hours of entertainment with Gary on KRKO. I have fond memories of those growing up years and KRKO was a big part of all of us back then.

I have appreciated continuing friendship throughout the many years since Gary and I first worked together in broadcasting at KPOR AM1370 in Quincy, Washington. I have many fond memories of that time and Gary's tremendous warm sense of humor. Shirley joins me in sending my best to you, Patty, and all your family during this time.

Gary and Patty and their children moved in next door to us in Marysville when the kids were very young. We remember Gary as being very funny , outgoing and patient with the neighborhood kids and the kids were impressed by his "secret" collection of comic books "hidden" in his desk downstairs among his record collection and when his dachshund had her puppies there were MANY photos taken! (I'm sure we still have several). Gary was SO impressed by little Karen, maybe 4 at the time, and her classic rendition of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Were Made for Walkin" and pressed her into a performance at any opportunity for the enjoyment of others (Sorry, Karen!) and how his obvious pride in his family was so evident! Great neighbors and a lovely family! Our best to Patty and the children in this difficult time.

I will always miss my silly funny friend. All my memories, " The Singing Bush", his impersonation of, " The Fly", the list is endless. You shall live on Sir, for when I am bored I can think of you and laugh. Love Carolyn
