Junior B. Smith Junior Benton Smith, age 81 passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2018. He was born in Corinth, Mississippi on September 30, 1937 to Benton Lee Smith and Ollie Faye Smith. He graduated from Farmington High school in 1955 and promptly enlisted into the Air Force where he was stationed at Paine field here in Everett, WA. Soon thereafter he met the love of his life, Patricia R. Farr. They were married and spent 57 amazing years together until her passing in June of 2014. Junior spent 35 years working for the Everett School District and in 1993 retired as the Director of Maintenance and Oper-ations. He enjoyed fishing, watching sporting events with mom and had a knack for fixing things. He made you feel special no matter how he felt and always welcomed friends to stop by for coffee and lots of stories. But most importantly, he was a loyal, honest, hardworking man who always put his family first, never missing any event any of us ever had. He was our biggest fan. He taught us lessons that we will always have and hold tight and gave us memories that we will cherish forever. His love for his grand-daughter, Taylor Dawn was so very special. She meant the world to him and he was so proud of her. Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia R. Smith; parents, Benton L. and Ollie F. Smith; brother, Carl Smith and sister, Ruby Smith. He is survived by his loving family: son, Randall J. Smith (Lisa), granddaughter, Taylor Dawn; daughter, Penny S. Smith (Michele); son, Richard M. Smith (Juliet) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends. Services will be held January 11, 2019 under the care of Evergreen Funeral Home. There will be a viewing at 12:00 pm and a service at 1:00 pm. Graveside to follow at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park. We love you Dad, you will be forever and always in our hearts.
