She was born April 6, 1941, to Lloyd Ralph and Alma Mae Case of Lenox, IA. At age three, she moved to Utah settling in Kaysville, UT where she graduated Davis High School, Class of 1959. A devoted wife and mother, LaVon was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her services in areas of the Relief Society, Young Women and Primary earned the admiration of many church members whom she held closely to her as family and friends. Later she met Frank Jeanmarie of San Diego, CA and shared 11 years of inseparable love and affection. They snowbird regularly between each other's home in San Diego and Bothell, renewing old friendships in states they crossed and creating new ones. With Frank and faith by her side, LaVon overcame cancer and is a six-year survivor for which she and Frank thanks family, friends and their visiting teachers, Bob and Linda Gardner as well as Richard and Lynda Ronfelt for being there for them.
