Obituary

Lillian Aloha Winters
Dec. 27, 1920-Feb. 9, 2011

Lillian A. Winters, 90, passed away at home in Everett, WA, on February 9, 2011 after an extended illness. Lillian was born to Franklin L. and Sylvia Troyer in Seattle, WA, on December 27, 1920.
The family moved to Milton-Freewater, OR, where Lillian schooled and graduated from Mac. High in 1939. She met her future husband, who was already in the Army Air Corps, on December 6, 1941 on a blind date. The next morning was Pearl Harbor and they thought this might be the end of their romance. They dated again and became engaged before Bob left for overseas duty in March 1942. Bob arrived back in January 1945 and they married on February 13, 1945. They lived in Walla Walla, WA for 12 years and raised two sons, Robert Jr. and Craig Alan.
Lillian loved being a housewife and mother; and after 65 years of wonderful marriage, I'd do it all over again.
