Nancy Huston Wilson

Nancy Huston Wilson, 64, passed away peacefully at Providence Health Services in Everett, WA on February 19, 2011, with her devoted friend, Todd Hendricks at her side.
Nancy, who simply referred to herself as Wilson, hailed from the small town of Wellsville, Ohio. She loved the Pacific-Northwest and adopted Everett as her final home. Her stay in Everett included a nearly decade-long tenure at the Herald, where friends remember her trademark gifts of basketballs bearing the Wilson logo. Her experiences at the Herald included both the accounting and circulation administration departments.
Nancy was the daughter of the late Fred and Eunice Huston. Nancy had a creative mind through which she excelled at art and music. She was an honor student at Wellsville High School where she graduated as Salutatorian in 1965. Her college education began at Wittenburg University in Springfield, OH where she joined Delta Gamma sorority and later concluded at Kent State University. In 1969, she wed Eric D. Wilson, also from Wellsville, and began her own family.
Nancy is survived by her two loving sons, Jeffrey Wilson of Seattle, WA and Eric Wilson of Atlanta, GA, and her daughter-in-law Karen Cunningham Wilson. She is predeceased by her older brother, Fredrick Huston of Clarksville, TN and survived by her younger brother, Jeffrey Huston of Raleigh, NC. Nancy is survived by two sisters-in-law, Carol Frazer Huston of Nashville, TN and Leigh Seward Huston of Raleigh, NC. Douglas Huston survives as her only nephew.
Nancy was an organ donor and anyone wishing to honor her memory is encouraged to support Donate the Gift of Life at www.organdonor.gov.
