My daughter and I still miss her - with Easter coming up, it is hard not to think of her and the fun we had when she came to the egg hunts with my daughter. We wish she was still here. We worry and wonder about how her parents are doing now, and still would like to offer any help we might be able to give them. David and Tasha we hope you are both ok.

Rose was a classmate of my daughter; they were in the same fifth grade class. Rose and Laina become fast friends, and my daughter spoke of her days with Rose nearly every day upon coming home from school. Over the past few years, they saw each other when they could... during this time, we learned of all the items in life that Rose went without.

Never once did I hear her ever complain; both her and her parents were all shining examples of true gratefulness for anything they had.

Every time we returned Rose to her home from an outing, her parents greeted her with hugs .... their faces brimming with the joy of the sight of her; and Rose showed the same reaction to both of them.

I believe that no parent could ever love their child more than they loved her. I am personally very amazed at the strength I witnessed from them at her funeral today ...

There are no words worthy of fully expressing the extent of your loss nor my sorrow for your loss. I wish you all the best for the future, and I offer all that I can to ease your days ahead ... please contact me for anything you want.

Sincerely,

Cherie Douffet, mother of Laina, who was a friend to Rose.

I only had a couple of classes with Rose but she was always kind, even to the people who weren't kind back. She always was smiling and made others laugh.

I had known Rose for a while, we both went to Twin City Elementary. We kind of figured out middle school together. I hadn't seen her in a while, so I was kind of shocked when I heard that she had died.

I don't where to begin. I didn't know her very long, only about a year and a half, but I was close to her. She always had a smile on her face and always made everyone around her smile as well. She was one of my first friends when I moved to PSMS and definitely one of my closest. To Mr. And Mrs. Hass, I am very sorry for your loss. Rose will always be in my heart and I will always remember her.

Rose was the first girl my son Keep had a crush on. So much so we named our cat after her. Every year in Elementary school he would pick out a special valentine for her and I still have a picture of Rose and Keep together after he gave her a chocolate rose one year. Her energy, spirit and smile were contagious. I'm so very sorry for your loss. She will never be forgotten.
