Obituary

Estella Jean Houdeshell

Estella passed away at Sunrise View Convalescent Center in Everett, WA, on January 28, 2009. She was born in Thorp, West Virginia to James and Ethel Taylor on August 2, 1941.
Estella was very active with her family and friends until her health had declined. She was a Den Mother in Cub Scouts and in Girl Scouts; as well as a baseball mom. Estella was an avid bowler for many years and passed down the love of the game to her family. She was well loved and respected by her family, friends, and former co-workers.
Estella was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald R. Houdeshell in 1999.
She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Terrie L. Mohr-Forker and her husband, Bobby Forker; her son, Thomas A. Houdeshell; her granddaughter, Julie A. Milburn; and great-granddaughter, Mikala B. Milburn (her baby).
She was an avid animal lover especially when it came to felines. Estella and Ronald were reputable Siamese breeders from the 60's to early 80's. In the last 20 years Estella choose to take homeless and rescue kitties into her home. They were given very much needed love and care until she could no longer care for them. When she would visit Tazzy's Siamese Rescue she would get her kitty cravings by loving all that was around her, she took such pleasure in this. She would spoil them greatly even feeding them turkey, chicken, and beef when she thought she could get away with it. Estella was always trying to figure a way of how she could take a kitten/cat back to Sunrise View Convalescent Center with her after her visit to Tazzy's.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m, Thursday, February 12, 2009, at Today's Church, 1122 75th St SW, Everett, WA 98203.
